Geothermal Class- October 13, 2009

RPU is cosponsoring a community education class on residential geothermal heating and cooling on Tuesday, October 13 from 6:30-8:30 pm.  The class will provide you with geothermal basics: what it does and how it works and how the the technology uses the ground as a heating and cooling source.  Whether you are building a new home or considering a new heating and cooling system for your present one, consider the economical and environmental advantages of geothermal technology.  The class will also discuss the RPU geothermal rate and rebate along with the 30% tax credit that is currently available.

Building Operator Certification II Class coming to Owatonna in January 2010

RPU and the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) are excited to announce the addition of the Building Operator Certification II Class scheduled for January 2010 in Owatonna, MN.

BOC Level II training is designed for those individuals who have received Level I certification or who have three or more years of experience working in operations and maintenance of a commercial or institutional facility. Level II certification requires participants to attend four core courses and two supplemental courses (56 hours of training, 4.6 CEUs) and complete class exams and projects.
